Here’s how it’ll work:
Each month, the top 3 longest Striper catches (on a lure) will win a prize.
1st place will receive a Lucky Craft lure, generously sponsored by Victor Salvador who represents Lucky Craft —big thanks to him! I will provide 2nd and 3rd lure prizes from pool of a new lures I am selling on Facebook Marketplaces.
Minh Thanh Tran has also generously sponsored our 2025 NorCal Surf Fishing Competition with monthly $100 cash prizes. The 1st place winner will receive $50, 2nd place will receive $30, and 3rd place will receive $20—plus lure prizes for all winners every month until end of November.
The competition runs through summer until end of November.
How to enter:
For this week just write a symbol in the sand next to your catch and measurement when you take the photo. I’ll announce a new symbol each Friday
Prize pickup:
I’d prefer not to mail the lures, so winners can meet me at the beach to collect their prize. I fish every Saturday between Pescadero and Ocean Beach, between 6:30 AM and noon—just come find me.
Good luck out there, and have fun this season!
